De La Salle Plamerstown 39 Barnhall 10
28th of January 2008
DLSP fully deserved the high scoring victory and the additional bonus points for tries scored at wins swept Kilternan on Saturday. The home side presented a well balanced side with strong forwards and a well drilled backline that was competent in attack and in defence. Barnhall played directly into the strong wind from the kick off and with DLSP performing well in home games this year and Barnhall starting without a number of first team regulars the challenge was always going to be a though one for the visitors ...more

In perfect conditions on a dry day in NUI Maynooth, the young bulls got back into the swing of things after a very disjointed winter that had seen them play just one game in six weeks. A.I.L Preview 10th of January 2008
Barnhall welcome Bective Rangers, one of Trevor Brennan's other clubs, to Co. Kildare. Trevor actually got his first (of 50) Leinster caps out of the Donnybrook club. Barnhall first played Bective during the 2001 / 02 season in Division Two. The Rangers are the last of three Leinster clubs to visit this AIBL season. Although Barnhall lost all three AIBL – 2 home games to Leinster clubs last season, the AIBL record at home to Bective is without blemish. Three victories : 26-12 in October 2001, 15-6 in October 2003 and 31-20 in January 2006 is how the record reads. Barnhall are currently on a hat-trick of Division Two victories over the Dublin 4 club who are 126 years in existence this season.
